The Domaine Hawthorn Row

Focus and its partners Atlantic Residential and Centennial are excited to be repositioning a portion of Hawthorn Mall in Vernon Hills, IL into a mixed-use development. The Domaine at Hawthorn Row will be a community of approximately 311 luxury rental apartments and 57,000 SF of retail space.

The future tenants will be within walking distance of Class-A retailers on site as well as across the street. These include Whole Foods, Nordstrom Rack, and many popular restaurants such as Lazy Dog and Kuma’s Corner.

The retail portion of Hawthorn Row will feature popular national and local retailers with approximately 50% being restaurants or food/beverage services.

The luxury rental apartments available at The Domaine will offer best-in-class finishes and amenities. The unit layouts and common areas are designed for everyone from young professionals to empty-nesters. Ranging in size from 600 – 1,330 SF, The Domaine will offer Studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units. Interiors will be well-appointed, consistent with current Class-A residential standards such as plank style flooring, quartz or granite countertops and in-unit washer and dryers. Units will also address the recent shift in remote-working trends and will offer a work-from-home area with a built-in desk.

The community will feature a superior amenity package including a double-height lounge, private dining room with parlor, game room, two-story gym, pet spa, and outdoor terrace with swimming pool, sundeck and grilling stations.

The residential portion of the building will be wood-framed and the retail portion will be constructed with precast planks and steel beams and columns.
